The upland community of Cwmdu and District lies at the western edge of the Black Mountains and the community comprises of four villages with a population of 918.

Locations

Bwlch - The largest village is situated on the A40 between Brecon and Abergavenny
Cwmdu - Situated on the A479 between Crickhowell and Talgarth
Tretower - Also on the A479 a mile south of Cwmdu
Cathedine - The smallest village is on the B4560 between Bwlch and Llangorse
